Tribute Band Hire in Edinburgh

Pure Global supplies premium, production-ready tribute bands for corporate parties, awards nights and public showcases across Edinburgh. From faithful recreations to modern, dancefloor-first tributes, we curate best-fit acts and integrate them cleanly with venue AV so your headline lands on time and on brand.

What we deliver

We manage the entertainment component end-to-end – casting, contracting and advancing the band; shaping set lists to your audience; translating riders into venue-ready plans; and running cue-timed showcalling so the schedule stays tight. Our remit is entertainment and stage delivery alongside your producer and venue/AV partners.

  • Curation and casting: proven UK-touring tributes with the look, sound and crowd-handling to match your brief and venue scale.
  • Repertoire shaping: must-play set lists with smart medleys and encores; walk-in, walk-out and DJ interstitials pre-approved.
  • Show control: cue sheets, timed idents/VTs and stage traffic plans; disciplined changeovers with no dead air.
  • Compliance and safety: RAMS, PLI and PAT provided; movement paths and barrier lines agreed; quick-change and BOH plans set.
  • Technical integration: rider translation for in-house AV; backline strategy confirmed; RF coordination; redundant playback for show-critical cues.

Working across Edinburgh venues and districts

We deliver at the EICC, Assembly Rooms, The Hub, The Balmoral, and University venues. New Town hotels require neat, quiet-hour conscious get-ins and compact rigs; Old Town heritage sites need stewarded movement paths through pedestrian areas; Leith and waterfront venues benefit from weather-aware load-ins and tidy compounds away from guest routes.

In the West End and around Haymarket we plan tidy load-ins with clear service routes and manage neighbour policies and curfews carefully. For George Street receptions we can propose acoustic or semi-live opening sets to keep ambience controlled ahead of the headline moment.

Tribute formats that work for corporate and public shows

  • Full-band classic tributes: faithful recreations with period-correct instrumentation and costuming (e.g., Queen, ABBA, Bowie, Fleetwood Mac).
  • Contemporary tributes: modern pop/dance tributes engineered for dancefloors (e.g., Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga) with tight segues and medleys.
  • Live/DJ fusion: a front-person and section players (sax, percussion, electric violin) over a pro DJ for compact stages and rapid resets.
  • Themed medley shows: era or genre packages (80s, 90s, Britpop, Soul/Motown) that land familiar hooks every 30-60 seconds.
  • Acoustic/opening sets: stripped-back vox/guitar or trio to suit receptions and early hospitality windows before the headline.

All options are drawn from our approved roster with proven crowd response and consistent technical standards.

Production integration and show discipline

We translate artist riders into venue-ready plans: stage plots, input lists and power distribution mapped to house systems; RF coordination across mics and IEMs; and shared backline where it protects timings. Changeovers are timed and crewed; VOG or host interstitials keep the room engaged while we reset. Redundant playback covers show-critical stings and idents.

Where ceiling heights and footprints are tight in heritage rooms, we specify compact risers and cable management that preserves aesthetics and egress. We plan room flips with catering and venue teams, and design cue-timed finales that respect curfews and neighbour policies.

Local logistics: New Town, Old Town and Leith

At the EICC we align schedules to dock access and service lifts, pre-rig shared backline and pre-patch lines for efficient soundchecks. Around George Street and Princes Street we maintain quiet-hour awareness, steward artist moves through pedestrian areas and confirm SPL policies with duty managers. In the Old Town (The Hub, University halls) we set assisted pushes on gradients and plan safe cable paths; in Leith we manage weather-aware load-ins and keep compounds off guest routes.

For Assembly Rooms and Balmoral ballrooms we plan neat get-ins via service corridors, zone FOH/dancefloor lighting for quick room flips, and keep BOH compounds off guest routes. We also coordinate RF in busy city-centre environments and maintain redundant playback for show-critical cues. Where ceiling heights are limited we design punchy lighting looks with efficient power distribution.

Seasonal and neighbourhood considerations

During peak festival periods we allow additional time for pedestrian density and shared corridor use, build assisted pushes into uphill sections, and confirm delivery windows with site management to protect schedules. Around Princes Street and the tram corridor we steward crossings, keep cable paths tight and avoid sightline clutter; in waterfront spaces we factor wind/weather into load-ins and specify weighted signage and tidy BOH lines so guest routes remain clear.

Tribute Band Hire FAQs

Do you provide RAMS, PLI and PAT?

Yes. Risk assessments/method statements, public liability insurance and PAT certification are provided as standard and issued ahead of show day.

Can the band customise the set list?

Within the tribute’s repertoire we’ll shape a running order around your must-plays and audience profile. Medleys and encores are pre-approved in advance.

What about PA, lighting and backline?

We integrate with your in-house AV or bring supplemental production if needed. Backline strategy is agreed early to protect changeover timings and stage space.

How loud can we run?

We respect venue SPL limits and local licence conditions. Our engineers target intelligibility and impact without breaching policies or disturbing neighbours.

Do you manage licences, security or bar ops?

No. We deliver entertainment and stage operations alongside your producer and venue teams. We don’t manage licences, security or vendor operations.
